Lap Top - Audio

[Barrel of Fun]

So, apparently my laptop does not have 'audio'. I have two little speaker type things, but nothing is coming from them. Control panel states that I have 'no audio device'. What the flamin' heck do I do?

Thank goodness I gave up my Computer Science degree after just one year!

If you have one, download the appropriate driver for said sound card?

if you can see little speaker icon on the tray right click on it then select open volume control and make sure all the bits are turned on
