Lallana has broken the ligments in his leg. He'll be gone for a minimum of two months. Probably more (had a mate who wasnt allowed to do competitive sprt for a year after breaking ligiments in his knee). It was clear that we missed him last game. This is a huge blow. Winning the league will be at lot harder than first thought

.They do struggle when he isn't playing.

I like the implication that at first they thought winning the league would be easy?

they will go out and buy a few replacements. Don't want to slip behind us in the big spending league.
Shame for Lallana. Excellent footballer but there will be some rye smiles in Huddersfield/Sheffield/Charlton/Bournemouth/Peterboro/Milton Keynes and Brighton. Everyone whose chances just improved. Same as us with LuaLua.

Not going to sit here and laugh my head off, because i know how annoyed we all were when Lua Lua's injury news broke. But for our title bid, this will do nothing but help it.

Not seen any confirmation on this either. Although in more Saints related news.......

SSN transfer round up - A source close to AOX claims he may have played his last game for Southampton.

To have scan tomorrow. Could only be a couple of weeks out which encompasses 1 league game.

Either way, injury is part and parcel of the game. Its how your team reacts to it that matters. It's also quite useful this has come in the middle of the window.
