What has taking a condom off because his lady likes how it feels, got to do with football? 99.9% of all football songs are awful but at least they are about football. Ppf stays more on topic than this mob.

I'm very surprised, I love the sample they use.......Don't mind their voices and rapping, though I'm nearly 50 so I'll miss the message of most of what they're saying.....gobsmacked that the Official England song (is it?) has "niggaz" in the lyrics....... feels weird typing that word but if it's in the Official England song (is it?) then it must be ok to do so? Is it? A confusing message the FA are sending out surely.

Well, watching that was four minutes of my life I won't get back.

Not exactly one you can sing along with when you're pissed up watching the footie like Three Lions, Vindaloo or even (Christ above and I can't believe I'm mentioning it) Meat Pie Sausage Roll FFS!

No, they aren’t

Nick Cave - https://youtu.be/3eXtxv1nhwI

Etc etc etc

As far as I’m aware it’s to do with songs not being available on YouTube Music unless the comments are disabled. It’s been that way for ages, but the internet gives people a platform to talk absolute shite about stuff they don’t know about.

Can’t believe roughly 95% of British music is such a disaster that they do the industry standard and turn comments off on the official audio whilst leaving comments up on music/lyric videos. Absolutely disgusting.

Not to mention those quintessential football singalong lines:

She love it when I go deeper
She good with her throat.

I also like the line:

"On the attack like Danny (Ings) and James (Maddison), neither of who are in the squad, along with fellow absentees Trent, Lingz and Nathaniel Clyne.

I went on the first YT link I saw, and for whatever reason, comments were disabled. I think its because this is an utter abortion of a track, but perhaps you know better.

A football song trying to be "cool" is never, ever going to work. Thats just not how football fans here are wired. 3 Lions was a phenomenal success because it tapped in to how fans feel about England. This f*cking mess, whilst trying to be modern and "inclusive", is an epic fail on so many levels.

If they rattle this out at Wembley on Tuesday night, I can already predict the reaction. At BEST, it will be completely ignored. I predict boos.

People keep saying this is the official FA-approved England song but is this the case? I haven't seen an any comment from the FA suggesting that it is.

Edit- just read an NME article that states it's the "official" song and it's been added to the wiki page of official songs, not that that means anything

On the face of it, it does seem odd that the tournament anthem adds the themes of sex and drugs to scoring goals, not to mention violence and the N-word (I won't write the full word as oddly it seems to give some posters pleasure to plaster it all over NSC and I'd rather avoid that).

Thought I'm not clutching pearls myself, I can see that this effort to connect with the youth will alienate other fans. Will be interesting to see if it is played at Wembley.

Wonderful stuff. Might play it to my 10 year old lad later. "Here's the official England song son, its references the N word, getting noshed off, Johnny's and a load of players not in the squad"

Faacking hell.

Maybe it was going to be an official FA approved song, this is before the FA heard it :)
Sounds like K & K have had a laugh, taken the piss and even got their mates involved ???

I’m guessing most of us reading the thread thought it was going to be an official England song because of the thread title.
