"David Beckham Studies" is a story that was made up by the Sun. Staffs Sociology department ran a module for final year sociology students about football and the effects it has on society. It was mainly about hooliganism, commercialisation of the sport, the influence footballers behaviour has on children, that sort of thing. It was only open to sociology students. Believe me, I really wanted to do that course but they wouldn't let me on it. So I had to a course on French theatre in the early 20th century instead.
How do I know about it? Cos i'm a Staffordshire UNIVERSITY graduate innit.

As for Big Brother, I am pleased to say that I have watched not a single second of it and don't have a clue who the people on it are and nor do I care.

A cultivated image i'm afraid and an insult to those who really do have underpriveledged upbringings.

She comes from a well-off middle class family (as many of these so called 'rebels' do) and the 'prostitute' story was made up.

I had the misfortune to have videoed the friday night big brother and was curious to see what the contestants would be like. What a bunch of idiots, couple ok but the rest I wouldn't piss on if they were on fire. In this respect I was glad to see it, so I know I will not watch anymore of the drivel.

One thing I did think though was that Kitten was an actress put in there to stir things up. I heard on the news today that she has been an arse and will have someone else kicked out if she doesn't behave. Hmmm, the only way BB can guarantee someone being there? Just a thought.
