I'm not denying the talent. Just the images are shit.

I would like to see a graffiti artist who did stuff in some other style. Maybe something classical, a landscape, some pop art, maybe a huge recreation of a Hopper picture...

Edward Hopper rocks.

In terms of street art though Les, have you seen Julian Beever's work? http://users.skynet.be/J.Beever/index.html

Some of his pavement works are astonishing.

I'm sure someone posted them before. I like them but find them a little gimmicky. Still good stuff though.

I think my main problem with graf art aesthetically is that the image is too cluttered. Personal preference I realise.

Yeh, a massive landscape would be class. Painting green fields on the side of building could probably seen as quite a political point too! :clap2:

I think they are ugly, out of place and intrusive :nono:

Preferred the whitewashed buildings. Less is more.

Yeah, let's just paint everything white. BRILLIO.

Brillio isn't even a word Chappers.

I actually prefer blocks of colour. I like the first pic with the large area of random blue. Has far more impact that the jumbled mess of arbitrary words.

BRILLIO bloody is a word.

I know what you mean about the JUMBLE of colours but it looks much better in real life. The piece on the right is really quite good when you look at it in scale.

And anyway Bry, it's hardly intrusive. How regularly do you walk down Kensington Street?
