First 5 albums got to number 1. Only the Beatles have achieved this. Are they quality or " posh boys " with no role to play in popular music ?

Are they still going? My wife had the first album*, the first track of which was OK but they haven't really registered much with me, although I don't listen to much music radio so that's probably my fault.

*if it was the first album, I dunno. The couple of tracks I remember sounded like remixes of each other. if that's any help

Geting an album to number one in this day and age means nothing. Back it up with SALES FIGURES. I'm willing to bet that ALL of the artists I've mentioned so far have outsold Keane overall

Keane's first album outsold Joshua Tree in the UK though.

First album was alright. From what I've heard from bits and pieces of the others though, it all just gets a bit samey.

As with most misrepresented minorities I'd imagine most people would change their view if they realised that some of their good friends / work colleagues / neighbours at the AMEX are probably 'posh'.
