Good news then, hardly set the world alight in the play-offs and pretty one dimensional player

Great impact player and should have started a lot more games than he was afforded. Was like lightening in the second leg when he came on but had up to 4 Palace on him and no one in support. Negative tactics and under used by Gus.

I thought as soon as someone says a word out of place we're to jump to conclusions and poke them until death.

The one year options had to be exercised by the club as Gus allegedly said he would look to take out of contract players with him "to his new club".

Rubbish.

How much did you actually pay for this guy? The vast majority of you were absolutely drooling when he signed for you permanently. Clearly, it hasn't worked out and I firmly believe in a different side/style of play, he will flourish in a similar fashion to Bolasie for us.

He'll be good under a new manager... we should keep him IMO.

If We get good money for him then might as well... Like @Beach Hut said, he's pretty one dimensional, couple step overs and more often then not no end product, plus he's never got more than 60mins in him... It's A shame because He is fan favourite, but need to look at it from realistic view, can We get A better player?

Like Buckley, he doesn't always look amazing, but often does. Needs to be given a chance.

Could it have been a funny 'frape' by his brother etc.?

Had generally thought he quite liked it here

On fire in the last two games and dropped for the play-offs. Would've have thought he would be glad to see the back of Poyet. Hope he gives the new manager a chance.

Exactly.

Why he didn't start the second leg is a mystery.

Him on one side, Buckley on the other, with someone playing closer to, if not actually up front with Ulloa is the way forward.

Spanish Dave maybe, but pretty sure el Abd won't be off to a prem league team tbh, similarly with paints and dicker. Doubt Vicente would want to be in the same country as Gus let alone the same club

You realise the idea of quotation marks, is that it's meant to mean something has been quoted?

So what contracts was Poyet meant to sort out ?

Exactly...there are some people trying to rewrite history here and spinning the line barber is peddling.

This will all end in tears.

Nothing to do with this 'Barber line'.

Clearly Gus was meant to sort out the contracts of

Vicente
Painter
Dicker
ElAbd
David

and decide on the options for the others.

Tony did them himself in the end.

I think he may well change his mind if we got R.D.M or another high profile manager. But after the week this club had been through, kas is being very foolish here.

He's not exactly known for his membership of MENSA now is he?! His favorite word on twitter seems to be LOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!! Great player (IMO) but the brains of a rocking horse sadly.
