Two scenarios occur here:-

1) No student loan when you have finished studying.

Or

2) A severely pickled liver once you have finished studying!

The latter I think, if the last few weeks are anything to go by.

Only one of those roles pays me(well, aside from expenses in the other few!), but my CV will be helped.

General Manager of a Brighton-based voluntary sector transport operation, owned by 200 local member groups (themselves in the voluntary sector) and employing 35 staff.

I used to manage the Passenger Transport team at East Sussex County Council, until I cashed in on the early retirement option.

I must be overworking, I misread that as "crashed in on the early retirement option..

Passenger Transport went awry eh?

Perhaps more interesting (not that this information isn't):

Did you want to do that job when you were young? If not, what did you want to be?

Do you enjoy your job?

No. Like a lot of young kids, I wanted to be a professional footballer, or a famous musician. Trouble is, I'm not good at football, and I can't sing or play a musical instrument (unless Guitar Hero counts).

Sometimes I enjoy my job, sometimes I don't. Wouldn't mind a career change this year.

No, I wanted to be an air force pilot. Failed the medical on eyesight grounds.

No, looking to leave it soon; also awaiting notice to see if I've passed the second stage of vetting to join the police down here and will be applying to the PSNI if I don't get in.
