Perhaps somewhere in between!

Good possession, lots of shots, but side looks unbalanced.

However if Franky had his shooting boots on we would have had 5 at least.

We need to improve dramatically before the knock-out stages. We should try a few new players against Sweden.

If we play as shit and win the next 4 games I will be happy.

The scotreline was not a true reflection of the game as we could and should have by about 6 goals if Lampard could shoot straight but hings will get better ar the topurnamenmt goes on.

Draw tonight and we can put out the reserves against Sweden even Calamity to give him a game.

We're not going to get away with being shit against even a half decent side, the two sides we have played so far were absolute rubbish. We could end up being seriously embarassed imo

I think we should only change the team on the strength of overall performances today.

Therefore Lennon should keep his place, maybe try Beckham in the holding role, or even right back- where he left off today.

Form is created by a team gelling and individuals getting into their stride.

We can only afford to relax IF we have already won the group.

It's nice to be masters of our own destiny- lets keep it that way.

If Lampard and Crouch could finish would have pissed it

If Sven could manage and have a game plan that takes account of the opposition we would have pissed it. You are so quick to criticise everything about BHA's manager and incapable of saying a bad word about England's

There has to be an in between choice, but if limited to those two it was more "job done" than "pile of shite".

England still heading for a very difficult game against Ecuador though  :smokin:

Where's the option for both?

Not good enough form to trouble a decent side (dull draw or narrow defeat v Sweden in the offing, same as it ever was).

Defeat in the penalty shoot-out looms. Same as it ever was.

I bet if we won the World Cup and each game was poor but we won it no-one would argue about the performance.

As if there is even a remote chance of that happening, you don't win World Cups by being as shite and lacklustre (it's very hot you know) as we've been in the last two games against very very mediocre opposition. Keep taking the uppers
