Hull are reputed to be going to offer £200k for Daryll Duffy of Falkirk whose name has been put around on this site as wanting to move to his fathers at Sunbury on Thames to be near his girlfriend who is at London Uni.

The trouble is,nobody we can afford wants to come because of the stadium.So I guess thats why we talk about those we cannot afford.They won't be coming either.

What we could do is try to use our current reasonable players consistently,and not change the team to include deadlegs AND have to change the style of play and tactics to do it.

Cureton, Iwelumo and Yeates - all now at Colchester - could probably do a good job for us in the Championship. Why we didn't try to sign Yeates is beyond me. No doubt McGhee views Oatway and Carpenter more highly.
