Cadbury Star Bar is a chocolate bar that is made by Cadbury Ireland (1). Initially popular in the mid-1970s (2), the Star Bar largely exists due to a small but loyal fanbase (with a dedicated fansite), as the product has not been advertised or promoted for years. In the mid-1960s Star Bar was invented by Linda Allison (3), and was promoted as the "nunchiest bar ever".

1. Irish
2. The 70's. No wonder us youngsters haven't heard of it (although relaunched fairly recently)
3. And most importantly... Invented by a woman!

Today in terms of snacks I've eaten four biscuits, a handful or chocolate covered peanuts and raisins, a bag of walkers, and a dairy milk.

I wouldnt dunk a hob nob in a pot noodle - grim.

However I can plow through a whole packet of shortbread in one go.

(and in my office I have to or else the vultures come hovering)

I've never had a bisuit and raisin Yorkie bar, every now and again I think about it but then I'm like 'nah, I'll stick with what I know'.

I’ve been very partial to the odd Boost recently. They seem so satisfying – I think it might be the extra glucose or something.

Never had a Star Bar so can’t really comment, but I can tell that packaging is designed purely to attract women.

The Yorkie is the best part about this story, why not ask about that?
I did , and now assume we are talking Original here

see the Yorkie bar is one with endless possibilities yet the they experiment with other flavours ( they made a honeycomb one didn't they a couple of years back) but don't stick with the inventions

unlike the kitkat which over in Japan has had MANY different flavours come out (admittedly a fair few in limited edition flavours )

For my part, today, I've scoffed:

1 x Mars Bar [in the BLOKE'S Eng-er-land wrapper].
1 x digestive biscuit
1 x gingernut biscuit

Later, whilst watching TELLY, I am going to dive into some BOMBAY MIX.
