Its Us or Carlisle

I predict Northampton won't get another point. But Millwall will be wanting to get Tranmere in the play-offs rather than Leeds or MK Dons, so they'll be going to for the win against Carlisle. Carlisle are going down.

We'll beat Stockport & end up ahead of Hartlepool & Northampton

So, after Saturday 25 April's results, the situation is:

If Brighton win v Stockport
We stay up

If Brighton draw v Stockport
We need Carlisle to draw or lose at Millwall

But if Carlisle win at Millwall, we need Northampton to lose both remaining games to MK Dons (h) and Leeds (a) - both opponents with nothing to play for.

If Brighton lose v Stockport
We need Carlisle to draw or lose at Millwall, and the total goal difference of our defeat together with an unwanted Crewe victory to not be more than four goals (otherwise Crewe would send Brighton and Carlisle down).
But if Carlisle win at Millwall, we need Northampton to lose both games by massive margins - such as 9-0 and 9-0 (and even then if might not be enough)!

(Stockport have no chance of relegation - even if they got deducted 10 points this season)

Carlisle aren't at Millwall, they are at home. Not nit picking but makes a difference as it's a f***ing long way for their support to go for a not much game.

Northampton can lose both games and providing we draw with Stockport we are safe whatever carlisle do! If Carlisle win with that scenario, then it would be Northampton that go down!!

Agree, I don't think some people are bothering to look at who they are playing. MK Dons at home and Leeds away.

If, as you predict, Northampton don't pick up another point, that will mean MK Dons will be in third place before next weeks fixtures and they are away to Hereford who are already down. MK Dons will therefore be in prime place to play Tranmere and Leeds and Millwall will face each other. There is a danger Millwall will take there foot of the gas to save themselves for the play-offs.

Thanks Hiney and Lemming Stomper!

Just seen another correction to make...

So, after Saturday 25 April's results, the situation is:

If Brighton win v Stockport
We stay up

If Brighton draw v Stockport
We need Carlisle to draw or lose at Millwall

But if Carlisle win against Millwall (h), we need Northampton to lose both remaining games to MK Dons (h) and Leeds (a) - both opponents may want to win to determine the situation of their guaranteed play-off places).

If Brighton lose v Stockport
We need Carlisle to draw or lose against Millwall (h), and the total goal difference of our defeat together with an unwanted Crewe victory to not be more than four goals (otherwise Crewe would send Brighton and Carlisle down).

But if Carlisle win against Millwall (h), we need Northampton to lose both games by massive margins - such as 9-0 and 9-0 (and even then if might not be enough) AND and the total goal difference of our defeat together with an unwanted Crewe victory to not be more than four goals (otherwise Crewe would send Brighton and Northampton down).

(Stockport have no chance of relegation this season- even if they got deducted 10 points this season)

Any more corrections?... please add them on!
