fairly light but persistent snow in Crawley. Seems to be melting though.....

Persistant sometimes heavy sleet/snow precipitation with temperatures of 2C observed at the Southwick Weather Station at 9am. Not laying though.

Expect a band of quite heavy sleet and snow around mid/late afternoon and with temperatures falling to close to zero during this time the evening may be quite intesting in some places especially in land and over higher ground.
