Isn't it time for action in Lewes ?.

Problem is "costing them money" means in the end higher council taxes so Lewes District Council Taxpayers will not be happy
Nor should they be happy! The whole enterprise has already cost LDC (and by extension their Council Tax payers) shedloads of money, that's what we've been saying. We've also been saying that it will in fact cost them far more than the paltry sum they've allowed for it. To help this overspend process on it's way we've got to increase their costs until this exercise costs them thousands more than they budgeted for. After all our argument is that they are are doing this out of undemocratic class spite, they haven't thought it through and there are going to be hidden costs. I want those costs to be as high as possible. Once the bills start going up they may think twice about continuing the action and they'll certainly think twice about escalating it to the House of Lords or the European Court when they ultimately lose the J.R. (eg when it's referred back to Prescott's office and he comes to the same decision again).

I think that will be more effective than town-blocking demos which will just piss of the residents. It will certainly be more effective than a few peaceful protests outside Council meetings.

Perhaps this is too simplistic, but do LDC have council elections this May? Now I'm not saying someone should stand against every LD candidate on one issue but I'm sure that if other candidates were "leaned on" & supported by the powers of NSC a tide of change could reasonably happen. It doesn't really matter if they are Labour, Conservative or Rate Payer/Independant if they, if elected, vow to drop the action in respect of the JR that could make both voters & the vast majority of football fans happy.
I'm sure there is something wrong with this idea - just seems too simple!

No. I'm sending everyone at LDC a TURD pizza, all the way from Tokyo. I'm also going to subscribe the fuckers to a whole lot of animal BUKAKE porn.:)

This is the Lib Dems payback. We did for the bag of sh!te Bellotti and now they have a chance to get us back. It's up to us to fight back - picket the conference and demo in Lewes. Has to be done.:falmer:

Picket the Conference, March on the Seafront.

Let them come to Brighton and then generally give them a hard time.

Show them and more importantly the Media how the LibDems are the most UNdemocratic Part of the 3.

(Will B***oti be there?)

Agree with all these sentiments but lets concentrate on Baker, DeVecchi and Commin and forget that "defunct mouthpiece". We need to expose these three for the charlatans and snobs that they are.

If there isn't a full-on march on the Lib-Dem Conference then frankly we deserve everything these vindictive masonic swine throw at us.

ONLY A MARCH WILL DO. THERE IS NO, REPEAT NO, SUBSTITUTE

Don't get mad, get EVEN!
