I don't think it should be dropped, but watching the Football League Show for all intense purposes we are just Brighton.

I've only ever heard people who support the club add the Hove part.

The rest of the world just says Brighton.

There's a precedent - AFC Bournemouth used to be called Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic. With a town named Boscombe you couldn't blame them for dropping it.

Readers of results on radio and TV give out our full name I think.

i am continually perplexed as to why the club do not push the media to use BHA or at least Albion when describing us.

i rarely use the singular term 'Brighton' to describe us, i feel it's disrespectful to Hove and Hovians, and I'm from brighton.

But if someone outside of Brighton asked who I supported I'd have to say Brighton...as The Albion and BHA are a bit vague. Likewise for the media.
