I was going to offer Lord B a £10 bet on whether Newport would finish above the mighty Grimsby Town but I suppose he'll want ridiculous odds now.

Apart from the result at Ipswich, the only redeeming feature of today's important games was Lincoln City holding Grimsby to a draw. And the fact that County have a game in hand over both Wrexham and Grimsby.

Fair enough I suppose Mouldy, but the last game was a bit of a low point, taken apart at home against a side that played our style better than us. Gus obviously picked them up, changed it around a bit and produced that performance today.
