will this affect the iTouch as well?
I think (and I'm sure someone will correct me) but I think you have to pay for it on the itouch

I just got a text from o2 telling me to download itunes 8.2 and then i can download the OS
A tenner to upgrade on the Touch.
Reckon it's worth it?

no idea, the first (almost) half took about 5 mins to download, then the second half about 15-20mins
I turned on itunes, it said 3.0 is available to download, I clicked on it, and away it went.
Not really had time to play about with it, but will do and give some feed back
only 24 more minutes
