I dont know if I am getting carried away but at the moment, I cant think of a better one, he wins important headers as well. Gary Stevens was a centre back playing at right back IMHO, altho he's 2nd best in the many years Ive been a fan.....

Thats not an awful representation.

I think we play a 2-2-2-2-2.

2 strikers, two wing forwards, 2 centeral midfielders, 2 wing backs, 2 defenders.

Maybe a 2-2-4-2 and the wing forwards are more conventional wingers so coung twoards the midfield but I don't think that Painter and Calde sit back enough when we're attacking to be counted as defenders out right (thats not a criticism, in fact i think its amazing we have defenders who are so good on attack!)
