Inco-pad Corner?

In recent weeks the board seems to have been taken over with retro-threads from our older posters. Nottseagull seems to be the ring leader. Although he has been assisted by some of his cronies such as Hiney and FG.

As most posters on this board who are under 60, dont have a clue what they are talking about! Why can’t the old gits be given there own forum where they can post?

A bit like Childish Ramblings, but call it something like “Inco-pad Corner”, “When I was a lad” or “Put out to grass“.

Having been out of the country for much of the last five months I returned to an NSC which seemed to be in depressive meltdown (I saw a rabid dog biting itself once - it would have been at home on here.)

Far from being dominated by us oldies I have found the board to be over-run with children whose intemperence and inexperience make for a relatively unsavoury viewing/posting experience much of the time.

Perhaps we should swap the incontinence pads for huggies?

He's been plagueing Paxton Dazo with snide, sarcastic remarks for weeks now with little response, so has now turned on others. I can't believe the image of himself he is trying to project; he seems to forget that he posted a utube video of himself (singing GOSBTS whilst playing with his organ). As to my utube video. I don’t like the way you seem to have deliberately froze a still which makes me look particularly miserable. Unless it was to “back-up” your post about me being an “old git”? Why not just post it as a direct video link, to allow fellow posters to play it and make there own mind up? Let them listen to the way I sing so passionately about my love of “Good Old'e Sussex by the Sea“ and the way in which we risk it being ruined?

I think one thing the majority of posters will agree on, is the fact that you start every single post you write, by saying the name of the person you are quoting, is extremely annoying !!!

Fazz, me old mucker, always had youy down as a fan, mate! Loved the pic you did of us old deffers.

My signature has me down as a 'boring old git' so the clue's there. As with any thread, you can see the subject and see the poster and you can then make toe choice to read or not. There's a fair number of posts, and a feww posters, that i wouldn't bother with.

As for my postings well' when the Mrs hogs the tv to watch some medical type programme with Americans with screwdrivers in their heads or 36 stone women giving multiple births, well, what am I to do to amuse myself? After all, she's close enough to see if I surfing porn!

Sometimes the current subjects get done to death, there's plety of room for some variety. I've recently discovered the site that has details of games played on any day and some day's it brings back memories, some days it doesn't.

I remember the football, the players & the grounds. I also remembergrowing up through the time of footie violence and crews. I am really pleased that some like my ramblings and even moreso when they contribute. I'm sure there are many, like you, who are not interested so just move along, Sonny, there's nothing for you to see here!

Having said all that, Fazz, no offence taken here. We've spoken on here before and I'm happy to do so again. Thanks to those above who have shown their appreciation, especially those youngsters who shouldn't be interested!
