Ooh Zeitgeist, you might have something there. He definitely played for Man U and for Real Madrid - anyone know if he played for either of the Rome clubs?

Not Cunningham as I don't think that he ever played in Italy

Clubs played for
Leyton Orient, WBA, Real Madrid,Marseille, Manchester United, Sporting Gijon, Leicester City, Real Betis, Charleroi, Wimbledon and Rayo Vallecano.

I think the original question is a duffer, if no one on here and all our office mates can't get the answer ??? Time to call your boss a:censored:, TOTKM

Is that Portsmouth? They had better goal difference but a worse goal average.

That's wrong. If that table's true, how come we stayed up?

I haven't got the figures to hand (I'm sure some statto on here has) but as I recall it, Brighton and Hereford had identical points but we had the better goal difference - thanks to the 5-0 thrashing of Hartlepool.

Cos in those days, the 'tie-breaker' was the number of goals scored, not goal difference...

Thank the FA for crap rules...........

Sorry to be pedantic again, but weren't Halifax relegated from the football league a couple of years ago?

And Exeter-last year wasn't it?

The table clearly shows we scored 53 & Hereford scored 50. So, that's why we stayed up
