That's wrong. If that table's true, how come we stayed up?

I haven't got the figures to hand (I'm sure some statto on here has) but as I recall it, Brighton and Hereford had identical points but we had the better goal difference - thanks to the 5-0 thrashing of Hartlepool.

Cos in those days, the 'tie-breaker' was the number of goals scored, not goal difference...

The table clearly shows we scored 53 & Hereford scored 50. So, that's why we stayed up
