brighton. well london road station if i can, as i live just round the corner. quick pint in the signalman, jump on the train, quick pint or two on the west stand upper concourse bar. that's the plan anyway!
You know that 'what sort of beer would you drink?' poll you did The Large One? You know, the one to help the club know what beer to get in.
Well, is this poll to help the club formulate a travel plan?
Those of us who have traveled down to Withdean from London by train might vote Brighton automatically - but it looks as though it's about the same length of journey (well, ish) and ticket price to go to Lewes. So I guess we have the choice.
Until we know the terms on which Travel Vouchers can be used, this question is impossible to answer.I'm sure there must be a reason, but those travelling from north of Haywards Heath, why would you want to purchase a ticket to Brighton or Falmer (via Lewes). Would it not be cost effective to get a ticket to Haywards Heath, then use a travel voucher?

Bearing in mind the fact that the off-peak day return fare from Haywards Heath to Falmer is about £5.50, have the train operators agreed that Travel Voucher holders can use their Voucher and not have to pay anything extra? There is at least one version of the Travel Voucher scheme that has been posted on NSC after a season ticket presentation that said that the £1 Voucher would only give a £3 discount on the train fare.
