what is the point of this thread if not to open up old wounds?

Also why do people put 'allegedly' offered 6 figures for Tom Brighton. I thought this was confirmed by the Clyde manager on their own website.

Or is it that BG syndrome is catching and people are so hell bent on finding fault that they instantly go all Donal macintyre on everything these days?

Good post and dead right. The story about Tom Brighton was all over the place. There was nothing alleged about the offer.

That's what he admitted to. He didn't work hard when he arrived.

I saw coverage of some of the training on Seagulls World when MM took them swimming. Every player was in the pool happily swimming and exercising with Leon standing there looking pathetic saying it was cold.

So, where exactly has him being late for training 'most days' come from?

As for the swimming, maybe they didn't have any armbands and were worried that he couldn't touch the bottom if he got in trouble.

.

My sentence should say 'That's all that he admitted to.'
I heard differently from several different sources.

I heard he lures children into his gingerbread house and eats them.

Reliable source.

Are you seriously claiming he was late for training more often than he was on time?

I'm not claiming anything.

I'd have him back, we need a goalscorer. We have nobody who can score goals aswell as Leon can.

Having nobody who can score goals, and having Leon back are two totally separate arguments.
Not much of an argument when he scored 4 last season and 5 in 5 months before he left.
