I just want to give you a heads up that we're probably going to need to workshop it.

Chubby's oft repeated phrases include the words 'bottom line' and 'real money'.

I'm not saying he's tight... just finacially astute!:lolol:

:lolol: Jon used "low hanging fruit" with me a while ago in a conversation about the likely effectiveness of some of my work in business settings and I had to ask him what he meant.... (this managementspeak is a steep learning curve...!)

do you know your Magnetic North?

whilst you are at it, we need to "manage the leverage" and "re-allign the continu-um"

American Disaster recovery speak

BTW My all time favourite is

" We need to assess the critical needs of our customers and re-allign their expectations"

The one that drives me mad is

"can we PARK that one for now..."

How f**king stupid are these people. That just pick up on something that someone else has said, irrespective of the fact that there are PERFECTLY good words SENSIBLE words available for them to use.

The irony is that they believe themselves to be intelligent, whilst to me they just sound stupid and unable to express themselves.

Essentially, we can't give the punters what they want, but we'll take em down the pub a couple of times of year to shut them up ?

I'm not convinced this thread is fit for purpose.

Let me think about how I can add value then perhaps we can agree an action pad for some joint deliverables.

I think it's great, meetings are so much more interesting when someone says "I think we need to pick the fruit of the lowest hanging branches" or "If your gonna eat an elephant, start with the trunk" etc.
You just know it's going to be a good one and keeps you awake in anticipation for the next!

BINGO!
