Public or critical disgrace can sometimes bring the end to someone's career. The legend, Michael Powell (Black Narcissus, Matter of Life and Death, etc etc), had his life behind camera ended by the panning it received. I don't think Tom Six will be so sorely missed (apart from by sandpaper-gloved perpetual fiddlers).
The banning will probably heighten interest in the film now.

The Evil Dead was banned and it became a cult classic. The Proper full version is still hard to buy so this will probably have the same effect in a 21st century kinda way

Besides the human centipede was factually incorrect as centipedes always have an odd number of pairs of legs. Yet in the film he had six people sewn together, six pairs of legs. Some sort of freak sick creature.
