How would you feel if the Golds wanted to buy the club?

"Birmingham City owners , The Golds and David Sullivan are looking to walk away from the club as they think that the fans no longer support the club enough..........."

The Mirror is reporting that The Golds and Sullivan are looking to buy another club.

Wasn't there a story back in the 70's/80's that The Krugers and The Golds were looking to buy us?

How would you feel if DK was given a get out, whereby they would buy his shares and in effect take over the club?

Given their record for investment at Birmingham compared to our record of investment over the same period it's a no brainer. Unfortunately that's a bit simplistic I know but anyhow I'd welcome them even if their empire is built on porn and women's sexual accessories :clap2:

Not sure they would be the ideal people to take the 'Community Stadium' forwards... they might have slightly different commercial interests than the present board.

Would snap there hands off if they are willing to spend more than £2 and a bag of balls on players a season.

As far as I know we're not up for sale.

DK says he is looking for investment not someone to takeover.

If someone came knocking with decent money it'd probably be stupid not to take it but I can't see anyone getting involved in the club before a positive Falmer decision.

I'm also not sure about anyone investing who's not Brighton, love him or hate Dick Knight's Albion thru and thru.

Why on earth would they want to buy us ?

I went on a stag-do with a mate of David Gold (who sometimes drinks at the Hassocks by the way). He said the only club he would invest in after B'ham is the Albion, so it really wouldn't surprise me in the least.

And apparently he's a really nice bloke... won't go into the reasons here, but his behaviour certainly surprised me. Sullivan, on the other hand, is supposed to be an UTTER wanker
