Not sure about premier league but we certainly have a few League 1 players....

Barnes, Ankergren and Painter are clearly not championship material!!

There is a difference between Premiership class and Premiership experience. There are plenty of players in the Championship with the latter but if they had the former they would still be playing there. Ipswich have bought a lot of experience but it is not going to provide a long term future for their club.

Good foundations to build on, though, something we do not have.

One and that is Spanish La Liga in Vincente, so at the moment we are doing f***ing well to be 5th in the table with the squad we've got. Teams we are playing are packed full of premiership quality players so no wonder we are hitting a sticky spell.

I just hope Gus is learning quickly that we need to strengthen in all areas and to invest in better quality in the squad.

Maybe you have seen Vincente play in Spain,i have not,but from what i have seen of him so far,he aint Premier League Quality.

No one at the moment . Vincente was. At the moment people are blinded by his name . If he was a youth player people would moan . His goal yesterday indicates he is getting there and good he is staying fit .

All of your arguments would be more compelling if you knew Vicente's name.

Vicente when he is fully up to speed.
Dunk/Bridcutt/Buckley have the potential.
CMS,,his two goals against Leeds had Prem class written all over them, just needs a hold up cf to play off of.

Vicente looks good. Looks the answer to our left -sided quandery whether to play Lua lua or Noone. Play neither and play Vicente instead.

Vicente is, Bridcutt, Dunk, Noone, Buckley and CMS should be in the future.

Incidentally, looking at Swansea's current squad and Blackpool's squad last season, how many PL standard players did they have going into their first seasons in the PL?

Buckley, if we can keep him fit, could be anything. Made Liverpool look shit.

Palace & Leeds haven't gathered current-standard PL players at great or any expense, but scored 3 goals each with ease at the former fortress.
