yes and thats when one guy said there was a continent called Eurasia

By which logic, he should also count North and South America as one continent, thereby further reducing the number he thinks there are (America, Eurasia, Australasia, Africa, Antarctica).

Some people were taught that North and South America are combined to form a single continent. Hence there would be 6 continents.
Another way of getting 6 continents is combining Europe and Asia to form Eurasia. Though I have never heard anyone talk about Eurasia before. (I did some google searching)
