Just got back great batting display by R M J, and looks likely Joyce is going to get his first ton for us a fab innings by him so far lets hope they can get 300 and a bit more tomorrow and then take the wickets of dear old lanky

also remember points are only awarded for the first 120 overs this season not 130 overs as other seasons more changes by the ECB.!!!!!!

Was at Hove from 3.30 onwards & watched wickets 3, 4 and 5 fall.

Goodwin did not 'fail' - he was the victim of one of the best slip catches you will see all season - no doubt it will be on Sussex CCC TV tomorrow

Prior DID fail - a horrible swipe & no excuses

Wright again fell to an excellent catch by Anderson - very disappointing as I had thought he had weathered the storm and was starting to get going.

Lankyshire bowled well & Chapple & Anderson both deserved what they got but it was good to see a fightback from Joyce & RMJ - his little duel with Anderson trying to bounce him out at the end of the day was most amusing.

247-5 was not what we were looking for but hopefully Joyce gets his Century on CC1 debut, RMJ keeps supporting him & we end up with 320-330.

Then hope the plethora of bowlers we have selected perform.....

I think it's fair to say we're unlucky to have to play Lancs when they have Anderson, he probably won't play more than one more match this season

Watched the morning session and the Lancashire bowlers were bowling great line and length. All the batsman struggled to get the ball away and the grass is long on the boundry so what seemed like good shots were not travelling as far.

Wright and Smith really need to just bowl the same and make the batsman work for their runs.

Anderson looked the best I've seen down here since Harrmisons spell last year. It was like he was just training and working on his acuracy not his swing. Lets hope our bowling attack does the buisness.

Marvelous scenes too in the test match, where the Aussies have gone from 95-1 to 118-8.
