Anyone got an update re his fitness, all seems to have gone quiet after his Devt. squad game a couple of weeks ago?

Missus gave birth last week, so probably on paternity leave for a few days.

Sure there is more to this than the injury. Some sort of fall out leading to the attempt to transfer him to B'Muff with Hoskins then opting to try his luck at Sheff instead.

Even if incorrect can't see how he gets back if we're only playing one up front and Dobbie still unable to dislodge Barnes from the slightly deeper role

I agree. We are so boring to watch every week. If we do try to score, the other teams can score themselves very easily.

Yes, every time we open up these days, we score and also concede. We seem incapable of defending tightly and attacking in the same game.

From personal choice, I would rather we play entertaining, attacking football like Friday, but get a top quality striker to put more of the chances away.

Well, ok then, a competent one. I would settle for a striker equal in quality to PIG and Bridge.

But a striker with international experience, champions league experience, premier league winners medals would probably cost a couple of quid.
