In the relegation zone? Ok.

And? We were top earlier this season and last where did we end up and where are we now?

The fact remains we were a club about to embark on a remarkable journey expanding 5 fold investment in the playing side etc. He has taken us from being a L1 side that had yo-yo'd between L1 and the Championship with little investment and a dog of a ground, to the best supported team in a brand new stadium with an investment in team unheard of in our history. And where are we? A mid-table team and to me underachieving considering the squad at Poyet's disposal. Why is that? Because of his dogged approach to attacking football. We have a glut of attacking players and yet where are they, on the sodding bench, especially as with Saturday we were again chasing the game. Why didn't he bring on Hoskins and Lua Lua. It was there for all to see, CMS was tearing them a new arsehole so what did he do? Bring on Vicente who was slow and uninterested. He didn't even bother making the third change. What's the point of keeping the back four and all on the pitch? We might of well lose 5-1 going for a come back as lose 3-1 allowing the game the fizzle out like it did. It's one of the reasons why we haven't come back to win for 75 games, Poyet just hasn't a clue how to chase a game. There is never a plan B.

Look for faults in any manager and you'll find them.

Sadly agree. Gus has brought some great players to the club, but tactically is poor.
Absolute disgrace that it is now 75 league games since we have conceded first & won.
All the opposition has to do is attack us, score first & they know that at worse they will end up with a point.

Sadly you don't have to look too hard to see them with Poyet especially away from home.

Irrelevant statistic wthout context.

How many of those 75 games did we go behind in?
How does this compare to other teams?

I know on this thread and others I've been really negative about Poyet but I'm angry that again over 1100 people have spent a tidy sum in going to Sheffield and we were let down. Beaten by a poor side and the manager didn't react. All he did was bring Bridcutt off for CMS and it was so obvious that made a tremendous difference. Bringing Ulloa off was necessary but why oh why not go for it with pace Lua Lua and Hoskins. His appeared to be happy to concede the game without further damage. For that he is wrong adding to which his comments on Barnes are just not good enough. He didn't just let his team down again with his temper but also far more importantly us.
