Exactly, I don't know what the reputations about. Obviously there's some kids that get 'tasty' but they're like 12 year olds. Anyone who slags it off clearly hasn't been there.

Hove is one of the best parts of our City!
Not just because I live there! Its brilliantly served, got a decent beach, well linked up with the transport, its quiet but still lively. George street is fine!

There aren't many places I have been to in Sussex that I wouldn't be prepared to live in, though this should be tempered by the fact that I have only ventured east of Brighton about a half dozen times...the only place in the west I really wouldn't fancy is Pulborough, as a Storrington lad I have no happy memories of the place whatsoever and to be fair don't think I would be welcome.

Agreed but for being totally dead I give you Uckfield and East Grinstead. Both make Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath look attractive, says it all.
