I think you'd have to be going a really good pace to do it in 30 minutes. Also, there's no shortage of hills on the way to The Pilot Field from Hastings Station.

There is not a bus that takes you from the station to the door, but if you get the 21A from the station, and jump off as the bus turns up Hoads Wood Road, just keep walking up Elphinstone Road until you see the ground.

Just an update as I went in today to buy my ticket and save £2

On one hand my ticket is number 255 for the stand but judging on this thread almost everyone is POTG

I asked to pay £10 (for a £12 ticket in advance) and said I assume on the day can pay a quid to go in stand if it's raining? Was told "no they're not doing that this year due to the number sold". They thus got an extra quid out of me whether I need it or not. Just figured I'd mention it
