Has anyone ever worked on a deli counter?

We weren't THAT bad surely. Some of our luncheon meat was almost edible.

I started the week before the Albion played in the Cup Final and the cheeky wanted me to work on the Saturday.

Just back from a two week sejour in the south of france.
Used to work at sainsburys and spent 2 days on the deli.
I was fecking hopeless at slicing the ham. Nearly ended up with only four fingers!

I think the best thing I noticed whilst on there was the 5 year old out of date tins of baked beans, holding up the base on the counter- classic

We got that in our cigareete kiosk holding up the shelves, except we use Tuna

Yes, I have. Was in charge of the deli in Safeway for a month a few years ago. Favourtite cheese was definitely Mexicana - full bodied with red and green peppers, lovely.

I worked as a produce assistant at the Co-op in Blatchington Road.It was an extremely easy job as I worked in the evenings, there was never any stock to put out(I'm sure you all know how rubbish that store was) and no manager was there when I worked.
