What about Gary Stevens or although not entirely us, Gareth Barry?

We got Gary Stevens from Ipswich Town. Although I think we can claim credit for Gareth Barry.

Nice one Dan. He should solve England's perennial left-side problem...:clap2:

Oh bollocks, should have read the previous post.

No doubt on the strength of his performances at the back end of last season.....personally I didn't think he had a bad game v Reading - most of the time we were outnumbered down our LHS, and Harding didn't have a chance. In the second half, once we'd got our tactics sorted, Reading had nothing down our left.

Well done Dan - I can remember seeing you play at Plymouth a couple of years ago, and thinking there was no way you were going to make it as a pro footballer.

Well done Dan. I too thought that he had a fairly good game at Reading and on Tuesday night he spent most of the time covering for Mayo's deficiencies. Give the lad a break. He'll come good.

Exactly. He did well in the semis against Swindon and at Cardiff.

I am pleased for him especially after the nightmare week he has just had.

It will do his confidence the world of good and will help lift the team too. It doesn't matter if he doesn't get in the final 11, the inclusion in the squad will help him.

Well done Peter Taylor.

yes if we want to lose every game they should

Oatway is under 21 inches, Currie is under 21 tonnes, Jarrett is under 21 and Reid has English grandparents.

Robinson and McPhee up front.

Kuipers can go in goal. If we let Americans into the olympic squad then we may as well let Kuipers play for the England team.

Code:
[b]ENgland Under 21's[/b]

            Kuipers
El-Abd Hinshelwood Virgo Harding
Currie Reid Oatway Jarrett
      McPhee Robinson

when my cousin texted me this i thought it was a joke. he cost us a point at reading, and all the danger was because he kept getting skinned, and his sending off on tuesday which may have been harsh. cant see how he is in the squad, but best of luck to him and hope it is a sign of things 2 come! :clap2:
