Excellent. Might pop over there and catch up with my brother too.

Asobi Seksu will be playing the Pressure Point in October. Can't recommend this band highly enough. Sort of Cocteau Twins ish but with 100% shoegazer guitar riffs.

New album, Citrus is out NOW.

Is this thread turning into one big contradiction?

Quotes:

Not sure I like Hard-Fi. I like their latest one a lot.

Gutted as I'll be away.....seen them live and they weren't all that.

I'm confused chaps. D'ya like them or not?

:) Yes, I'd consider myself a fan and I really want to hear their new material, I think I'm just bitter that I'm going to be missing them!

Im suprised they dont habve to give tickets away free to watch that joke of a band. Utter shite.

Amen.

It's not so much the music (although that's shit, obviously), as their laughable attempts at appearing cool and edgy - see first album title, and the f***ing TRAGIC (and derivative) artwork for their new single/album. Kunts.

Oh, and their man-about-town lyrics. Ooooh, work eh? No, money, eh? Waiting to be served at the bar, eh? Annoying! Weekends, though? Brilliant!!! Kunts.

Oh, and their packed 'secret' gig at Glastonbury. If course it was packed, the gig was advertised in the NME the week before and was in a tiny f***ing tent, you kunts.

I've just spent an hour in a dentist's chair (straight up). Listening to their new single on the radio was the worst part of the ordeal. Kunts, kunts, kunts.

(Just to be clear, I'm not going to Worthing)

and there is a band who's 1st ever UK gig was in Worthing - REM. Sadly, I wasn't there.

Plenty of good live music out there. And you can get to say that you saw them live when they were just just starting out

I went to see my missus at work and they were the guest band on the tv show she does, I couldnt believe how bad they were live. Ive always disliked their tunes but in the flesh they were an abomination.

Hard to beat? Urrmm dont think so. They are simply an Indie band for 13 year olds who arent old enough to drink yet.

The lead singer thinks he can sing, and also thinks hes cool and with it.

Very wrong on both counts mate.
