Tony is the legend,Gus has got us promoted from the 3rd division to the 2nd that does not make him a hero in my book,not knocking him but hero ?

Where in my opening post do I say that Poyet is a hero??.....

PB68 is spot on! We must always back the managers/players. Gus is on a 5 year mission and he is slowly building a quality squad for the prem. As the Guinness adverts say 'Good things come to those who wait'.

I give him 70%. Thankfully he knows the value of keeping the ball and that is the 70%. Loses marks for sending his players out to cuddle scousers, giving Murray to palace, signing forwards who miss sitters with embarrassing regularity, failing to beat palace, and when things go wrong, waffling on about his great friends in the game. Apart from that, he is doing ok but room for improvement.

There is no such thing as the Gus is 'perfect' brigade. Just people who can support their club and manager without constantly having something to whine about.
