id just like to point a few things out.....................................
Tony bloom as chairman gave the manager Gus Poyet a budget to assemble a team for both season in the championship, surely the buck stops at gus with who is too blame, for buying certain players who are clearly not up to the job.
Personally i dont think any of the midfield signings in the last 2 seasons have been any better than the ones currently at the club.
Surely isnt it down to Gus and his staff to sort the team tactics out, ie training, picking the formation, choosing players to play in formations, roles etc
If the team aint scoring gus, who is at fault, yes you are you signed the players, you did the training, you decided the tactics, you picked the team, wheres your plan b, you clearly aint got one got, the only plan other than the plan a that isnt working is your pension plan and if your so bored, clear off and get it then

You needn't think you're the only one getting "bored" Mr P.....it's getting a tad tedious hearing your arrogant, inane after-match comments. !*&£ off & be bored somewhere else. :annoyed: Us fans don't pay nigh-on £600 for a season ticket to have to listen to a manager with such a rubbish attitude..at the end of the day you've built this team, the buck stops with you mate!

This is what I saw: BBC Sport - Gus Poyet s goal drought

"Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet says he is "bored" of talking about their problems in front of goal. The Seagulls have only scored once in their last five games - a run which has seen them pick up just two points. He told BBC Sussex: "It's difficult to analyse. I'm getting bored and fed up of repeating the same words. I feel sorry for the fans."

I interpreted this as boredom and frustration with his plans being undone the same way and having to talk about the same shortcomings every week. We know the way he words things is not always perfect. If you're interpreting this as "I'm bored of being Brighton manager, I'm giving up" then IMHO you're reading it that way because you want to read it that way. It's clearly not how he meant it. It's very easy to cut off the bit of the quote where he specifically says he feels sorry for the fans, yet I've seen three threads started about this 'quote' and every single one emitted that part of it, focusing on the boredom bit, and then people got in a tizzy about him not caring about the fans and how it's his fault and his responsibility. Granted, it is - but if you're going to criticise him at least do it with some integrity. It's very, VERY easy to spin a story in the direction you want when you take a tiny part of a bigger comment and look at it in isolation.

So I gather you still have'nt seen the video of the interview yet, it is not edited like the BBC's report. Read my post again properly instead of doing exactly what you are accusing other people of doing ie. being selective. I haven't 'spun' anything just repeated word for word what Poyet said in the last 2 mins of the interview. I also didn't summise anything from his comments, just that they were 'telling' IMHO, regardless of if he was referring to the team or the club. Either way his comments are just as outrageous and hardly confidence inspiring for the team or the supporters.
