Gus furious over not playing Boxing day

Been going to football for over 30 years but don't see the importance of Boxing Day football. explain it to us

We've got a match 2 days after Boxing Day at the AMEX as well. We could designate this one as the festive match ?

My god there are some muppets on here.. He was obviously asked what his thoughts were about the game being moved, and he answered the question, I'm sure he hasn't been sitting there thinking about it all week...

We are not losing a home game, merely changing the date which will make it much more convienent for many fans,there are many other options on Boxing Day.
No doubt the players will be able to be with their families over the Christmas period so no bad deal.
