My old dad used to hate any new music, but would sit and watch Top of The Pops just for Pans People.
Strange that i always thought it was Pams People.
Indeed, silly me
That was a remarkably well written and informative post from yourself. So much so that I soon discovered that it wasn't actually your post, was it.The first troupe was called The Go-Jos, but it was Pan's People - masterminded by Flick Colby - who really defined the role. They made their debut dancing to Tommy James & The Shondells' 'Mony Mony' in 1968, and stayed with the show for nearly ten years.
Pan's People were briefly replaced by Ruby Flipper in 1978 before Colby came up with Legs & Co. and, in 1980, Zoo.
Indeed, silly me
I'm confused, was it Pans People or Pams People?
This is a big part of my childhood here and i need an answer godammit.
Oh shut up, you are too young to remember Pans People as dancing out of time was the norm for us oldies
Why were the punters dressed for a funeral?
I much preferred Hills Angels from the Benny Hill show
Jesus christ you could never get away with that today on prime time telly!
You didn't see Lady Gaga or Rhianna on the X-factor then?
