What a bunch of MUGS. :D :D :D This is a bloke who moved to the Arse, then relegated Palarse with a tidy 2 goal brace before celebrating hilariously in front of the away fans at Highbury.

I used to know a bloke who was a massive Palace fan, and he said he never felt the same about that particular player after that. But its good to know this relatively sane individual was surrounded by enough mugs to put Wright top of their list.

I'm surprised that Ward is Brighton. I think most people of my generation would put Lawrenson above him - a class act who succeeded at the top level (which Ward didn't). Wardy was never even player of the season for us - I find it hard to believe that a player who was not the best player in any particular year would be the best ever.

There might also be older supporters who would put Tommy Cook or Jimmy Langley higher up.
