I'm sure Crewe have produced better players than David Platt. The bloke made an entire career out of 1 goal.

That's right, 10th all-time England goalscorer( that's three less than Shearer in one game less). He was far better than Gerrard or Lampard have ever been for England

Interesting that M'tiddlier is more popular at the Stains than Kevin Keegan, Steve Moran or that bloke who scored the FA Cup winner for them.

Moran wasn't fit to tie Le Tissier's laces. Keegan isn't held in especially high regard by most Saints fans I know.

I'm surprised it is Le Tiss though, as they generally say Terry Paine.

Well the 4 main players I can recall them producing are Rob Jones, Danny Murphy, Platt and Dean Ashton. I think they're right, though Ashton could be a great player in time.
