I know Steinman wrote it, but as far as I was aware, he never recorded/released it himself. Mind you, there are several songs on his "Bad For Good" album which both he and Meat Loaf have done over the years.

^ got me thinking about Susanna And The Magical Orchestra's gorgeous version of Jolene.

Couldn't find it on you tube though, but did come across this there.

Their music is all about acres and acres of space. And here's their cover of Joy Division's....Love Will Tear Us Apart.

Reckon it's an instant love it or hate it job.

Jim Steinman Recorded it with a bad throat Didn't like it so got Meatloaf in to rerecord it and the rest is history!!!
