Trevor, I'm getting deja vu with this one. Can you remind me which album this is on? The Band's Moondog Matinee is a great covers album, including an interesting version of the Third Man theme.

Wikipedia tells me that it is on "Jericho" from 1993 although I got it on a freebie album of Springsteen covers which I believe was given away with "Uncut".

For completists IMHO the absolutely worst cover version of any song by anybody, ever in the entire universe is the same tune done by Hank Williams III. Truly, awesomely dreadful.

Thats nice enough but its nothing on Johnny Cash's cover, in my opinion.

My offering for the best would probably be Joe Strummer's version of Bob Marley's Redemption Song.

for a heavy metal band, it was really nice to see them sit down and do a full acoustic tour and for it they brought out this cover which I thought Clint sung excellently!
