Maybe it would be an idea to wait for confirmation on something like this before we all pore our hearts out on here. I bet Chippy and his pal Charlie are having a good laugh at tghis if it isn't true.

In fact I wouldn't put it past Charlie to start the runour in the first place - except that he can't read or write so posting on here might be a little tricky.

harsh :D although he has been attending the albion study centre so things will have improved. Just wait and see how their last collective exercise (writing letters to the local papers) works out!

I'm not sure there is - I think Crawley, Eastbourne, Brighton, Worthing, Hastings, Bognor are the ones.

Chippy was rushed back from injury last season when Charlie broke his ankle. As such he was never able to reach proper match fitness, and had a poor season by his standards.

He should always be made welcome at the Albion, not too many players have contributed towards BACK TO BACK CHAMPIONSHIPS at the club, and he is one of the few.

Past his best now but was great ...the goal at Aldershot was top draw !!

Good Luck Chippy and Thanks.

Quality player on his day, major part of two Championships, Play off final etc.

Some super goals and crunching tackles.

All the Best - shame we don't get a chance to say thanks properly.

All the best in your future endeavours, Chippy. Congratulations on your career in general, and your time with Brighton in particular.

Thanks for all your hard work, great goals and encouragement to the juniors, and your dignified professionalism. Oh, and thanks for that goal at Tottenham.
