Already caught the Super Furries last Friday, top gig as always only made better by the fact that they played the 22 minutes version of 'The Man Don't Give a f***'. Nothing else planned as yet apart from Dizze Rascal at the Dome right at the end of the month.

I didnt like the OrDINary boys when I saw them live, but the album is a bit of a grower, I saw it for 7 notes in Asdas the other day so its worth picking up.

PETER, knows a lot about them, why not ask him yes.

The Ordinary Boys are amazing and their gig I went to at The New Adelphi Club in Hull was one of the best I have ever seen.

They do a fantastic version of 'Little Bitch' by The Specials in their live set and also listen out for the classic 'Little Bubble' which is on the live CD that comes with the album.

To quote their press release "equal amounts..Ray Davies, Billy Bragg and XTC's Andy Partridge, with heavy doses of the clash, the jam and the smiths thrown in for good measure".

The Ordinary Boys are your new favourite band, you just dont know it yet.

The saviours of the mod movement.

NME summed it up "Exciting, Englisg, essential"

The NME are bitches to record companies nowadays meaning the likes of The OrDINary Boys and Kasabian get excellent reviews compared to everyone else.

Two of the worst bands out there at the moment. Awful, derivative, artless pap.

Blasphomy.

Kasabian are a triumphant return to rock and roll swagger and The Ordinary Boys are churning out superb social commentarial lyrics faster then you can say 'thats entertainment'.
