looking back at the replay the lino was no where near up with play. was he Russian ?

Thanks to Platini, maybe it will be brought in now a decision has unfairly gone England's way.

What staggers me even more is that they stand on the same side of the goal as the lino at that end. So instead of having a view from both sides, the extra official gets in the way of the lino so if he gets it wrong,there's no second opinion!

I've never noticed that - is it always the case? If so, that's unbelievably stupid!
