Surprised that so many people want Wood alongside Murray. I thought he looked very ordinary on saturday. Took an excellent pen. but otherwise looked slower than Barnes and lacked his positional awareness.

Ok one shouldn't judge a player on his debut. But I would hope it's Murray and Barnes up front at St Mary's.

Would be delighted if Wood proves me wrong.

I thought that Wood used his body strength very well and would be an ideal foil for Murray

Methinks due to this being a massive game, he will go for Barnes and Murray, perhaps experimenting with Wood and Murray in the next league game, or FA Cup if WBA let us play him?
