Agree with those saying that Adams should've taken Glenn off before it happened. The he was playing and the way the ref was being generally shit, it should've been a no brainer.

Didn't Forster have a word with Glenn ? He's the captain, I'd expect him to get involved with exactly this kind of thing to calm him down a bit.

He did, as did the management. Murray had been fouled loads in the game, he came off as he had been hit in the back of the head, he was was bleeding and had his shirt changed. He then got fouled again, retaliated and the little bloke headbutted him.

He was clearly even more wound up and it was only a matter of time before he did something stupid. We already had made 2 subs so couldnt take off both Murray and Forster, so as Forster had run him self into the ground twice in 4 days, we did the sensible thing and rested him.

But maybe it wasnt such a good idea, when these events unfolded minutes later with Murray kicking the ball away, getting pushed in the throat and go flying El Abd style!
