I have seen Glamorgan a few times over the last few years,and it is acknowledged that the main reason they have been such a poor side is that the club spent millions towards the cost of their new ground. However lose to this lot and QUESTIONS NEED TO BE ASKED.

The question, why did we not sign another batsman? needs to be asked regardless IMO.

I don't understand why we didn't go after Scott Newman when he was released by Surrey. Good batsman and we clearly could have afforded him.

Cocky bugger with too much attitude, would not have been good for dressing room harmony.

Sussex have taken on a few dodgy characters in the last 10 years - don't forget that Mushy was meant to be trouble, he'd been dumped by two counties. The Surrey dressing room was an unhappy one by all accounts, the more harmonious Sussex one might have been what he needed.
