Ben Brown and Ollie Rayner are better options as batsmen than Thornely.

I'm not sure that Rayner is - although I think he should have played.

Has Brown ever played a CC game?

What worries me is that this wicket has been good enough for half of our batsmen to play themselves in, so it really can#t be a bad batting wicket.

Surely Glamorgan can find ONE batsman to go and make a big inning. :(

This, of course is stating the bleeding obvious!!!

Our Bowling flids will be opening the buffet shortly

Don't worry ... we've got the mighty batting talents of Monty Panesar to look forward to.

Soon.

MS Panesar c Allenby b Cosker 0 (1 ball, 1 minute)

Marvellous scenes.

Will he reach 1,000 runs in first class cricket this season or next?

That's 1,000 runs since he started in 2001, btw. So far, in nine years, he's managed to reach 858 (in 148 innings).

A fifty for RMJ, this simply won't do, they should all be back in the dressing room by now ready for Glamorgan to start building their giant first innings lead

It's a good job there isn't a division 3 or a conference in cricket as we'd be heading the right way if there was!

Brilliant. Two of our pacemen wasting their time batting. All that means is they will be even more tired when they come to bowl and the class acts in the Glamorgan line up such as rees, bragg and wright will tear into them.
